New Year, New (Preceptor) You: Precepting Practice Pearls! Program 199

Program Description

Why should you consider being a preceptor? It’s a chance to give back, grow the profession, reconnect with your passion, develop your leadership skills, and enhance your resume. We will discuss these benefits along with barriers, feedback techniques, and generational differences.

Participant Program Objectives

At the conclusion of the program, the pharmacist and the pharmacy technician will be able to:

  1. Describe entrustable professional activities (EPAs) and their role in pharmacy education.
  2. Describe layered precepting and its perceived benefits and barriers.
  3. Discuss different methods of providing feedback.
  4. Identify elements of precepting across generations

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
