Addressing Covid-19 Vaccine Hesitancy. Program 192
Program Description
Vaccine Hesitancy refers to delay in acceptance or refusal of vaccination despite availability of vaccination services. Vaccine hesitancy is complex and context specific, varying across time, place and vaccines. It is influenced by factors such as complacency, convenience, and confidence. We will discuss vaccine hesitancy as it pertains to Covid-19 immunizations.
Participant Program Objectives
At the conclusion of the program, the pharmacist will be able to:
- • Define vaccine hesitancy
- • Describe determinants of vaccine hesitancy
- • Identify reasons for COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy
- • Respond to reasons for COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy
- • Discuss strategies to address vaccine hesitancy
At the conclusion of the program, the technician will be able to:
- • Define vaccine hesitancy
- • Describe determinants of vaccine hesitancy
- • Identify reasons for COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy
