Program Description

Immunizations will need to be administered even during this Covid-19 pandemic. What changes are recommended since last year? How can we safely administer immunizations to our patients and keep personal risk to a minimum? We will discuss this and more at this virtual presentation.

Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician Program Objectives

• Discuss the efficacy and safety of MF-59 adjuvanted influenza vaccines in older adults
• List the FDA approved indications for use of MF-59 adjuvanted QIV
• Discuss the efficacy and safety of the rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP ebola vaccine
• Describe ongoing COVID-19 vaccine studies in the United States
• Discuss CDC recommendations for immunization administration during COVID-19 pandemic

At the conclusion of the program, the pharmacist and pharmacy technician will be able to:
