Program Description
The North Suburban Pharmacists of Chicagoland is committed to providing continuing education to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. How we are practicing our profession during this difficult time has been challenging. We will be working to provide virtual programs until it is deemed safe to provide live programs again. I am hopeful that you will participate and grow your knowledge with us.
This will be a virtual program from the Illinois Pharmacists Association. The focus will be on legislation changes pertaining to pharmacy practice.
Pharmacist Program Objectives
At the conclusion of the program, the pharmacist and pharmacy technician will be able to:
• Discuss pharmacy and healthcare related legislation from the 2019 session.
• Describe updates to Federal and Illinois regulations related to pharmacy.
• Review upcoming Rutledge vs PCMA court case and the implications on pharmacy practice.
• Discuss the impact of PA 101-621.

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
